A family history
For more than 160 years we have been cultivating vines in Ladaux, in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. From generation to generation, we have passed on a love of a job well done, a respect for the land and an unstinting desire to innovate. Today we ensure this heritage lives on with the same quality-driven approach and a focus on adapting our wines to contemporary tastes.
With over 400 hectares of vines across 13 estates, in Bordeaux and neighbouring appellations, we also maintain 200 hectares of forest, lakes and fields, a testament to our commitment to maintaining a careful balance between production and biodiversity.

4 hectares of land purchased in Ladaux
Pierre Ducourt, a farmer, acquires 4 hectares of vines for the sum of 7,000 livres (an ancient French currency equivalent to a pound of silver) and makes his home in the small village of Ladaux.

We are not afraid to explore new pathways, from planting new, more resistant grape varieties to developing our organic range or evolving the way we make wine. Our ambition never wavers, and we remain forever focused on creating authentic wines, true to the terroir, yet also aligned to contemporary tastes and market demand.
