Thanks to our continuous efforts to preserve our unique environment, we witness year after year the return of indigenous species
The wild orchyds are a great example, every year we see them blooming on hillsides and alleys next to our vineyards. Last year we noticed a very special location, particularly rich of diversity at Chateau d’Haurets.
Hundreds of orchyds blossom at the feet of the windmill. The inventory of the species have revealed a very rare one : Ophrys apifera var. bicolor f. chlorantha.
